We have a range of hireable spaces available for weddings, baptisms, funerals, private parties and meetings, as well as public events such as large meetings, concerts and performances.

St Peter's Church

Fee: $250 / day
Capacity: 150

Built in 1889 from local bluestone and limestone St Peter's Church has been an iconic landmark in South Canterbury for many generations. This is a beautiful historic space for weddings, baptisms, funerals, as well as musical events such as orchestral and organ performances and concerts.

Octagonal Room

Fee: $16 / hour (includes heating)
Capacity: 50

A warm and inviting large round space, suitable for all kinds of gatherings from meetings, serving refreshments, workshops or playgroups. There is built-in seating for approximately 40 people around the perimeter of the room.

Small Lounge

Fee: $16 / hour (includes heating)

Parish Kitchen

Fee: $10 / day

A small church kitchen with standard domestic kitchen facilities. There is a servery hatch to the church foyer.

    • Zip Boiling water dispenser

    • Dishwasher

    • Plates, bowls, cutlery, serving utensils, glasses and cups etc.

Parish Grounds

Fee: $20 / hour
Capacity: 80

A large level lawned space great for exercise, outdoor social events, community markets, or just relaxing. Includes use of church toilet facilities.
